    help Mirror glass removal?

That all works, the mirrors are off, in-fact both doors are off as well. The whole car is now stripped down and ready for a re-spray.

    Question:
Does any one know how to remove the mirror glass? I'm don't want to be too rough and end up breaking them!

Glass removal: The glass was not designed to be removed or replaced separately.

But if You warm the glass and the black surround gently and then use a plastic tool to prize the glass out from the edge of the surround and away. The glass is very thin so it wont stand up to too much force. It's also bonded in the middle with a square of double sided tape.
With the glass out the surround can be removed by undoing the central screw.

Both mirror lenses off without any damage, (now back on the beat after re-spray) you're sure right about them being thin!

    Great advice there, thank you
