    Canadian Import

Hello folks, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Barry D. I've been lurking here for a while now and have found it most informative and entertaining.
JDM's are quickly becoming popular here in Canada (15 year rule lets us import just about anything as long as it is 15 years or older) but we have compliance issues as everyone does.
I've recently imported a 91 yellow Beat with 71,000 km. Great car. Too bad its under a tarp and two feet of snow right now, although I did get to thrash about in it for a month previously.
Anyways, I hope to learn what I will need to know to keep the Honda on the road, the latest mods, and in the know for parts and such. Besides, you seem to be an interesting lot!

Thanks all, the Beat handles and corners/drives like a race cart. Firm suspension with a little stiffness for positive road feel, and flat stable cornering.

Comfort and speed? like a track racer. Most of you know this already.

For the first time?, WOW!, cool, but after 30 min. the brain switches to RHD and it all returns to reflex. For me anyways. Here, most of us drive on the right hand side of the road.

Gearing seems a little low, until you get used to the revs. AJ, you will be pleased! Top off is sweet like a motorcycle.

    6 months till spring!
