Painting the rocker cover
Slightly pointless as no-one else will see it, but it took my mind off the misery that is being single on Valentines day! hee hee
Anyway
Spent a long time cleaning it, first with degreaser (from the £1 shop, fantastic stuff).
Then scrubbed away until it was shiney!
Using very high temperture black paint I applied the first layer:
Then I spent a great deal of time carefully applying yellow to the details.

And today came proof if ever it were needed that I really need to get out more hee hee
Decided the start colour coding under the bonnet, everything that's yellow is being resprayed yellow. Everything that isn't is being sprayed black.
Started off today with the spare wheel, and the washer bottle

I also got the degreaser out on the air filter cover, and cleaned that then painted the Honda yellow.

engine rocker cover
Hi WL did the same when my engine was out red paint on the engine polished rocker and sump ..put it back cant see it ... how are your engine problems ..not been on the site for some time.

Picked up the gugeon pins today, so got to take the engine back out (had to put it in without the pistons for a show) take it all apart again. Take the pistons, pins and block down to the machine shop again so they can press the pins out and put the new pistons on, then put them in the block for us.
Then it's put it all back together and get it running again, hopefully.
Had to have the block rebored and 0.5mm oversized pistons and rings.
