hi guys

i have had a beat for the last year and kept it garaged and just sold my old car and am driving the beat regular for the first time....i have a problem which i think is the alternator drive belt....when idling i get a screaming noise coming from the engine and its seems to occur when i have greater use of the electrics lights etc. it goes when i take off.... i think the belt could be new and maybe needs tightening.... i know very little bout cars but wanna learn on the beat...can anyone tell me how 2 go about fixing the problem?

thanks

If you are over in Ireland then there are several owners on here from there that might be able to lend a hand with your problem,

I'm sure one of them will be on here soon offering advice.

Hope this helps

Adrian.
