When going to see a beat that i'm interested in buying, what are the main areas that i should check?.I've bought plenty of cars in my time but there must be things that are peculiar to a beat,
Cheers Alan:help:  :)

When we bought our Beat last summer we fell foul of the "Engine-Warning-Light-Bulb-Dud-or-Missing" problem, although this has now been resolved.

i just painted mine not for rust but for shoppin trolly dents .... when removing the front splash guards i did notice that the front panel has started to rust inside so it went for a wee drive to the sand blaster apart from that mine was fine
