Hi- I need to get a new Battery for my Beat - might be a daft question but what do I ask for ?. The one in at the moment is some sort of "Max" battery so it's not like I can go to Halfords and ask for a equivalent:help:

Hi,,
For a new battery I recomend taking the existing one to a specialist tyre/exaust and battery retailer, if ther can see it they will be able to source on. personally I use Part Co you should find them in the yellow pages.
Hope this helps

Stefhanie - we fitted a new battery to Chris' Beat a while ago. I'm sure they're still available. It's a Delco Freedom 35-35J. It fits the space well and is a sealed unit so no real need for the vent cap. We got it from a local battery specialist in Nottingham. Can't remember the price but it wasn't excessive.

Hi All,
Just wanted to thank everyone for their help and to add that I have also found another equivalent a "Yuasa 054" - don't know if anyone has already heard of them they are about £44-48.:)
