Well, I had quite a week last week!
Not only did i see 2 red beats in Dublin (driven by 2 young hoodlums! hi adam and john (who isnt really a john at all!!)) but on my travels through nottingham I ended up behind a little yellow beat ( reg ended with PGN i think). The poor thing had a torn back window and a boot rack. It turned off into the university campus, so I am guessing it was a student, but anyone know who?? (i might have a spare back window for it!!)
Just to end my week of spotting, i have developed shingles!!
:suicide:

Thats nasty Paul, I hope you get better soon but I hear it takes a while.
It was nice to finally put a face to a name, I might make my way across some time this summer. Thats if something else doesn't brake.

Speaking of putting names to faces, I just realized that I wouldn't know you guys if I fell over you in the street although I spend alot of my time emailing and talking to you all....how bout a pic? Although I could id you buy your cars probably, especially Adrian!
Now I'll be able to pick Paul out though, he'll be the one standing! lol
Cheers

It was nice to finally put a face to a name.
The whole name thing is a confusing story.. orginally when the old forum was up and running my mate john was posting up messages for me hence the name john, when the forum changed i kept the same name to aviod confusion. so i was john online and michael off line! Silly i know!!
Oh and heres a pic of me and my beat when i was rebuilding, the pic was taken after working for 12 hours straight on it!

Thought I'd add a picture of myself as well. It's nice to see match a name to a face !

My goodness, Stefanie, you look a right foxy chick! What a smashing photo!
Just so no-one mistakes me for a loitering good-for-nothing at the next Beat Event, here's a less smashing photo from down our local pub (where i appear to be behaving like...errr... a loitering good-for-nothing! )
NB: I'm the girl ;)
Good to see everyone's face. Keep 'em comin'!

Sorry to revive a very old thread (and the mug-shots :p ) but we spotted a Beat in passing about half an hour ago - we weren't in ours unfortunately though.
So, if you happen to own a tidy-looking yellow J-Reg beat parked on a grass verge in Finningley - you've been spotted!
Third unexpected Beat sighting this year, and quite a surprise so close to home.
Pat saw a yellow one in Cornwall earlier this year and we both saw another yellow Beat parked in the medium-stay car park at Stansted Airport in June.
