Jumping CD

Hi,

Can anyone tell me a way to stop my CD from jumping everytime I go over a hole/manhole cover/drain/fag end? (On our beautifully kept roads)

I was thinking of fitting rubber washers to the mounting bolts or something similar to damp the shock reaching the CD multi changer.

I remember replacing my fuel pump mounting bushes on my Nova, metal bolts at each end and rubber in the middle. Would something like that work?

Any help or ideas will be appreciated.

Hey from Australia,

I have my CD Player mounted in the boot as well. When I first bought it, within weeks it started skipping. I took it back and they said the lens was dirty. It seemed to work much better for a while but then started doing it again. I bought a CD lens cleaner and have had no further problems.
