Hi,
after selling my Beat approx 10 months ago, I find out the new owner hasn't driven it for 3 months because of a problem.
It starts occaisionally, then dies after running. Then sometimes it won't start at all. The mechanic has replaced the distributor, which worked for a couple of weeks.
The Beat is now gathering dust in a garage while nobody knows what to do. Honda UK have given the mechanic a fax from Japan, which he can't read, as it's in Japanese and it's not a good copy. Honda UK are being very unhelpful with this matter.
Everyone is at their wits end, so, if anyone can help, can you ring the mechanic (Richard) on Harrogate 01423 525909.
