Doesn't look too bad John,

How hard was it to fit?? and how good is the sound from it???

I'm going over to the states for xmass so I might look out for one

Adrian.

Thanks Adrian,

It fits really well and it is very very easy to fit, i found wires in the center consol of my beat for the old original beat sub and wired it off that. It just has to be tapped into a power source and speaker wire. The sound is good, maybe not a loud as i had wanted (120w max) but it makes a difference, its worth the $129, if your going to new york i have the number of the place that can get you one

John the SRV303 looks good, but I have to ask how your going to get the benefit from it trapped behind the drivers seat. It definately looks like a buyer for me but I'd like to know the dimensions for a center mount, (god knows I could do without a cassette holder in this day and age!) I would mount more where the original sub woofer went, could you post those here in the forum. or have a web page I can surf to possibly?

Cheers Oz

Hi Oz,

ill measure it up for you and post back, i was thinking about puting it in other places like where the old sub was but i didnt think it would look right-as the system is a little too big, im happy with the position its in at the moment when the bass kicks in you can really feel it and since the outlet is at the side of the unit the bass shakes the whole car :D

Paul is that the velocity one? i had considered it but it was 280 euro over here

looks good paul i havent seen that one before. A company called velocity makes a very nice black one. I believe blaupunkt call their "performance audio" velocity, it works out more expensive than that blaupunt and im not sure what the power difference is. heres a link to the one i got

oh and its 129 in New york not 159 as advertised in that link!
