Hi Guys,

Bleeding the clutch worked a couple of years ago (Clutch-going-going-gone! (http://www.u-ukhbc.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?3923-Clutch-going-going-gone!)), but this time all I got was a pool of clutch fluid on the concrete!

Off goes the Beat to the local garage and they've diagnosed a leaky clutch slave cylinder. From earlier posts, it looks like the part number is 46930-SS1-003, which www.parts-honda.uk shows as discontinued :(

It looks like I can get one from Japan from either http://yokohamamotors.net/honda-beat-clutch-slave-cylinder-details.html#1750 (£82 delivered) or https://jp-carparts.com/honda/part_search.php?maker=honda&part1=46930&part2=SS1&part3=003 (£63+delivery), but they're both from Japan and the whole of Japan is on holiday until may 7th!

And then there's https://www.diyspareparts.com/parts/honda/cylinder-assysl-46930ss1003/ (£200) here in the UK with 2-3 day delivery, but ouch, the price!

Does anyone have any other sources? Or one lying around I could buy?

Here's hoping, Thanks!

Hello Jc

I'm afraid I haven't got a slave cylinder but I really enjoyed reading your previous post, I was there with you pulling the clutch pedal back up!

Have you considered re-sleeving the old one?

Good luck!

Fixed!

The guys at pastparts said they'd need to see the cylinder to diagnose, so I asked my usual garage and they found a kit of parts which looked about right and cleaned it up themselves in about an hour. No guarantees, as it was quite badly scored inside, but still good after a few weeks. Fingers crossed!

I might just buy a spare from Japan, just in case.

Hope this helps someone in the future :)
