One of my dipped bulbs is gone and I was going to replace the pair. What bulbs does the beat take? Standard H7? Cant seem to find the info online.

Beat headlamp bulbs are H4H bulbs

good bulbs, nice and bright, once you've got over the panic that they're OK when received by post :)

I'll check my local Honda dealer but I suspect they will be useless as they probably have never seen a BEAT before :D

shouldn't matter, go in armed with the Chassis no. so they can access the system and part no.

I can confirm the partnumber for the bulb is 33115-SH3-003
Dealer may not have stock as it is exclusive for a Japanese market car.
There is stock in Europe, so dealer can get in a couple of days.
Cost is £19.74 inc VAT.

^ Thanks Steve!
Got the bulbs and had a quick look. Is there a nack to taking the old ones out. I can see the little metal bracket that is holding the bulb in. Do you have to remove the two screws? I didnt want to apply too much force trying to unclip the bracket.

No need to remove screws, at the opposite end of the wire clip to the screws, the end need to be squeezed and unclipped from the headlamp housing. Where the screws are is a hinge which allows the clip to pivot out.

tried this again I cant get the bulbs out. I must be missing something here. The one clip that hinges under the bulb is held in with some force.

regarding the two screws, I loosened the one screw retaining the square section of the clip and the clip easily popped out.2732

In the picture in the above post, it's the end of the clip to the right of the picture that needs pushing into the headlamp and then moving up to disengage from the metal clip and then hinging up away from the bulb to allow the tail at the bottom to lift away from the bulb
Yes on my other Hondas it's similar. I've done it more than once but never remember exactly what's done. Often working 'blind' doesn't help (me). Lol
