All,

trying to turn off my check light (or at least find out what's wrong with it) and i get no blinks/flashes when the service port is connected

i know i have bridged it successfully as i can turn it on and off and i get a change in engine tone (due to the ignition timing going from static/mapped) just no flashes

i've removed the 7.5A fuse as per the reset procedure, still nothing!

any ideas? i searched on here and a few threads popped up but none of them had resolutions

Thanks!

Funny you say that. Replaced my dash bulbs with leds. After a few weeks check light came on but car ran perfectly. Got sick of the red glow and replaced with normal bulb. Problem solved... Wait a minute. Might have the same issue with me exhaust temp one now.....

Mine was the same. Had the capacitors replaced on the ecu and I'm now getting a code for the first time when I bridge the service port. I also checked and cleaned any grounds I came across too.

I didn't do the soldering myself as it looked a bit precise for my unskilled hand. I took it to a local computer repair shop, in fact the bloke in the shop told me it what a pain double sided soldering was..

I do have some info though. There are 6 caps on the board that are the usual culprets. The shop replace mine with the following:

1 x 35v220uf
2 x 10v470uf
2 x 35v33uf
1 x 35v47uf
