O2 sensor fault.... even with new sensor

Any one any ideas on this

Engine check light comes on , generally provocted by wide throttle on lower revs

Car seems to run fine,

Did a decat , problem same

Has new exhaust made and fitted a new Honda 02 sensor

Problem still the same

Capacitors in ECU also replaced

So where do I look next ?

OK, I think that several issues might cause the engine check light to come on.

First things first, what makes you think it is the O2 sensor?

Secondly, does it seem to have any noticeable impact upon performance?

there's a seperate catalyst light, does that come on?

which sensor did you use?

He had a brand new oem part from Honda
