Anybody installed a power trunk release? Seems a other Honda model assy may be adapted. Thoughts.

Hayabusa engine transplant, power trunk release... Is there anything you won't try?

Last summer increased motor from 1300cc to 1550cc. Adding paddles this spring

Can't be too difficult, springs, a little wiring + the sending unit off of a different car. Problem is often those go through the key fob yea? That might require some central security system depending where you get the donor parts from. If you're engine swapped, this'll be a walk in the park.

I'm shopping for a small solenoid activated from inside the car. And include a spring.

Installed a direct electronics solenoid assy, fab'd a pop-up spring assy. will install switch above fuel door release in door jam. Total is less than $30
