i ordered a new one from Lings last month and it's came through and it's a screw on type which i believe screws directly to the cam cover.
my honda has an extension tube and the oil filler cap is attached to the body of the vehicle! does anyone have the part number or indeed the part?
Thanks,

All Beats have the 2 fillers, if they'be found 1 then they should be able to locate the other on the system?
The boot one is used for top-ups, too slow for oil changes, unless you have all day!

I'd be very surprised if they were not a common design.

prepare to be surprised. part number for the cylinder head one is 15610-PC6-000 and screw fit. the bulkhead one is a bayonet fit and has the part number mentioned above. entirely different parts!
i'll just use the cylinder heat fit one with a funnel and tube, and blank off the one on the slam panel

Cylinder head one 15610-PC6-000 is the same as a Civic from the same era - you could try a scrappy.
The one under the boot 15610-PE9-003 is the same as an Acty van.
tbh you only really need one, although you'd have to be really careful about how you blocked one off, you don't want oil spraying everywhere.

That one is probably loooong gone by now. Yep. Just checked. Long gone.
Would something from another vehicle work? Like a motorcycle or something? Bring some measurements to a bike shop and see if they have anything that'd work.

Of course I meant in common with other cars, not with each other.

ah right, my misunderstanding. the part number is unique (well, shared with an equally rare Acty)
i'll get in touch with the breaker but i'm quite content to just use the one filler.

Not sure which one you're after tbh but one just turned up on PP1 lovers on facebook. Latham Papworth.

Hi,
First one is about to end soon although it will no doubt be relisted. https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r187663213 It is new. Buyee doesn't want to handle it though as the seller has too many negatives for their liking so you would need a contact in Japan.
This one https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r180658439 is apparently new as well, and properly painted and with a mildly excessive (imho) price for doing so.
HTH,
Gord
