Hi All,

My alternator belt has snapped (great noise!) and the local dealer can get a replacement in... 4 weeks, from Japan. Not sure I can be Beat-less for that long, especially with the weather warming up!

Does anyone know if there's an equivalent to the real thing which will work temporarily/permanently?

Also, while they're in there, they suggest replacing the a/c belt, also a 4 week wait -is there an alternative for that?

Cheers! -Jc.

Part nos seem to be:
Alternator drive belt. 31110-P36-003
AC compressor belt 38920-P36-003

Actual size of alternator belt is 3PK635 (3 ribs and 635mm long) pick one up from local motor factors.

Some searching on here comes up with Bosch 11A0725 for a/c belt (it's a single V belt)
