Hi all,
currently an NSX owner and an Integra DC5 owner

I bought a Honda Beat as always wanted one and it was an excuse to buy one for my daughter even though shes only just turned 1!
this was when I bought it:

It had been sitting for a while but a small service and caliper change got it through an MOT no problem.
I have since done alot of work mechanically and covered 2000 trouble free miles, I'll be updating this thread.............

So with the timing belt here, I did a full service:
Plugs
Oil and filter
air filter
and also replaced the timing belt, oil pump, water pump, oil seals, distributor cap, rocker cover gaskets and a few sensors, engine feels like new and is very economical!

The door cards had a sound install in the past, I sourced new door cards and removed all the sound proofing!

So with a new roof ordered from Oxted trimmers I decided to get some OEM fasteners to make it totally fresh:

I plan to get the bodywork sorted after this summer, so for now a quick polish and underseal underneath-which i was surprised how clean it was! its looking like this, I pulled the doors in and have treated the rubbers with aerospace 303 which i highly recommend and I have no leaks at all! sorry for the poor quality pictures, will get some nice ones soon.

I wanted to smarten up the rear so decided on a custom centre exhaust, I retained the stock silencer and cat, its simply just the tailpipe which has been extended to the centre!
sounds exaxtly the same as stock however!

Oh well, there goes my status as the youngest Beat owner in the UK. :p
Looks like a great example though, and the Beat does look nice in white!

That car used to belong to Nuna Khan.

He was a sound engineer, thats the reason for the audio install.
It also has exclusive all-white dials in Mph flavour. (I presume its still go them)

Unfortunately Nuna is no longer with us, he passed away after a shooting incident in the US, I'm told.

That's a shocking way to start my day!
Nice to see such a nice car in the hands of someone who obviously cares a lot about it. I'm probably the oldest owner here (71) but hope to pass mine on to one of the kids in good nick.

pm'd about door cards, Yes the roof on ebay for £300 is from the same company I got mine from, not sure if its the same glass window one
Wow great collection of cars there Mike! I hope to be an NSX owner one day soon.. the price for them here in Aus is ridiculous, though. Most are early 90's models, auto in red.. with mileage of well over 100xxx k's the prices start around the GBP 30,000 mark :(
Look forward to seeing the progress so keep us posted!

Hmm slightly uncomfortable thread for me as Nuna died before he had paid me for that roof!
(edit: I re read that and it sounds heartless which wasn't my intention)
