Hi, I've a 1991 red Beat that's fallen into a sorry state and I haven't the available funds to sort it out. I've owed the car for 10 years and I'll be sorry to see it go but the pain would be eased if I knew it were going to be either a donor or a restoration project. The car had a good roof (replaced 7 years ago and used very little since then), a perfect tonneau cover, stainless steel twin exhaust, sports induction kit and various spares (all these are new; 3 inlet valves, 3 exhaust valves, some valve springs, sleeves, head gasket, water pump, dizzy (brand new)). The car itself was driving fine up to a few years ago and has just been left to one side since, there were no mechanical problems at this stage at all but it has not been started in 3 years. All elec windows were good, lights perfect, glass and body panels (except cracked bumpers) are all good. The car and parts are located in Ireland and if interested the lot would need collection from my place. I'd like to sell the lot as a combined lot and I'm not really that interested in breaking the car / parts myself. If anyone or a group are interested I'd let the whole lot go for £1000 / €1200. The parts are quiet difficult / expensive to come by for a Beat so maybe this would make a good group donor car? PM me if interested.

I've bought this Beat , I'll update my plans shortly , it hopefully and most likely will not be broke , overall a solid car .

I'm happy that the car will not be broken. I've still the parts (all these new; dizzy, fuel pump, head gasket, 3 inlet and outlet valves, 3 valve selves and springs), I had intended to build up a full engine rebuild over time but had to stop collecting bits. Open to offers on these.

Original wheels were steel, I think 13" on back and 12" on the front. They might be at my parents home. If I could find them they'd be free other than shipping.

Hi John,

Hi, just thought I'd pop up some photos of the parts I have. I can only do 5 pictures with each post so there will be a few mails. The part numbers can be read off the pictures themselves.

Again, part numbers are with the pictures except for the gaskets, dizzy and fuel pump.

Contact me if interested in any / all of the parts in this and teh last post.
