unattached wires under the bonnet

Does anyone know what the 4 wires attached to a single connector are?

I suspect that they are ground wires, but before I connect them to the chassis I want to make sure.

Also if they are ground wires could they be causing the front indicators not to work (bulbs are fine and checked all the fuses). And instead of the front indicators flashing the check(position) lights flash when I have the indicators on.

Yes that's a ground point and should be bolted to the body.

Thank you.
I got a new screw and fixed it to the body and it fixed the right hand side indicator.
The left one was still broken so after looking around I found another unconnected ground on the left which fixed that indicator too.

I think it's time to look around for more disconnected wires.
