I thought I already had this ordered, but my broker called me back to say its not shipped yet. A FGS Legalis System.
Question they have is, is it Legalis K or R?
I can only find this... 2159
I've confirmed it is stainless steel, and it looks like what I've seen other forum members have...but I always thought it was FGS Legalis R not K. Anyone know the difference?

The one pictured is the Legalis K. The Legalis R seems to be a single-pipe bigbore system adapted for a lot of cars.
The K is very nice - I've had one for a year and change now and am pleased with the sound and performance.

Done. Thanks Steve. Your's is a 4 pipe system as well I'd imagine? (2 left, 2 right)
You of course are lucky to have the version Z with the factory LSD!

Unfortunately no LSD - I think it was an option in that year. And yes, the FGS (Fujitsubo) Legalis has the 4 pipes, very cute-looking, but they ended up very close to the bottom edge of the bumper. That may have had something to do with the different-looking hanger brackets, but anyways it all worked out.

Thanks Steve,
I thought the Version Z had a factory LSD? You may have a surprise out back you did not know of!
As for the exhaust hangers, I've asked my vendor repeatedly if FGS can supply some specific to the muffler. and he says only stock from Honda is avail...sounds like this may be an issue? Do you have OEM hangers?
Let me know!

The unit I bought (used but lightly) had slightly different brackets than was showed in every picture I found, but it still worked OK. They looked like original manufacture, and I could not figure out why. Maybe it was off an early car that had slightly different mounts. It also came with a pair of rubber strip hangers, making it a belt-and-braces affair. In any case, don't be concerned - I'm sure your new one will be fine.
I will peer closely at the diff - what should I look for?

If your VIN number is PP1-11••••• then you should have a LSD other wise not. First version Z were only modified versions on normal beat, like version F, C etc. special colours and standard accessory spoiler and mudflaps. Only the 110 series chassis had the modified mechanicals. LSD, ABS, R134 AC.

Not that this is the place, but hey, I can hijack my own thread right ;) I always thought all version Z's were the same, good to know.
What were the mechanical differences between the 100 and 110 chassis and why would Honda do this on the last year model of the car anyway, just as it was about to be discontinued?

Oh well, as I thought, it's an early one (PP-103...)
