My mate, a Honda mechanic has just been over and replaced all the discs and pads. He recommended ADL for the front and EBC for the rear. EBC pads all round. He and I couldn't believe that it actually managed to stop when we inspected those we (well he!) took off. A misaligned rear wasn't ever working, one rear and both front totally shot! I thought the braking wasn't that sharp but it always pulled straight. Too embarrassed to post the pictures :( I am always amazed how small the pads are considering what they have to do. Took it out for a long drive with orders to go very gently on the pedal to avoid messing them up for about 15 miles. All fine and I reckon it will try and splatter me against the windscreen if I need to do an emergency stop. Anyone found that other cars pull out in front of you? Can't they see it or do they have a problem following a small car? Most trips involve the use of the horn especially on mini roundabouts when I turn right and oncomers don't attempt to wait. My mate's coming back next Saturday to replace the inner cv boots and give it a service. I bought 2 lots of magnatec oil last week when Halfords reduced it by a tenner/4l container so should help with costs.

Agree, made it as cheap as own brand stuff but far better quality.
