2 road trips this year.......

Easter...3 weeks

Midlands > le 'Chateau' > Lourdes > Pyrenees high passes > Murcia/Alicante to see 2 friends then either to Northern Spain for long ferry back or return via le 'Chateau'

mileage.... anything up to around 3000m

June/July...4 weeks

Midlands > Ypres for IRC/Historic Rally > le 'Chateau' for the 24 Le Mans classic > return

mileage....anything up to around 1500m

may need to revise the classic car insurance mileage :eek:

best get the sounds sorted soon!

part 1 done & dusted....

whole deck to ourselves, parked right outside the doors.
week at the 'chateau' then long drive to Lourdes in one hit.
over the Pyrenees in rain & snow, with the pass we were going to use blocked with the white stuff, cue 50m detour!
long drive down to Cartagena via Zaragoza, 4 days at friends, then 4 days at another friends place in Torrevieja.
up to Santander via Salamanca for long ferry back to Portsmouth

always thought France was big but Spain, just so vast & desolate in places.

4000kms of my 5k limit done already..oops!
& sooooo nice to be able to hear music properly :cool:
