hi,
does anyone know if the white pepperpot alloys were oem??
or a custom job? also were the alloys in any other colours?
i've seen yellow pepperpots on a yellow beat, and i've seen white on a purple beat....

i had my alloys refurb about 2 years ago, but the finish hasn't lasted.... does anyone know of a place that will do the diamond turning on the alloy edges?? when i had mine done, the finish wasn't as bright as when new....

many thanks...

As far as I can tell, the pepperpots were delivered only in natural alloy color. They do lose their pizazz after a while, and last year I put out an inquiry about how to get that nice shiny finish back on the matte part. I've tried some alloy cleaners but that's all they do - clean. Before I had new tires mounted the shop cleaned up the rim edges but they got dull pretty fast. I'm guessing that a total polishing followed by a clear coat is the only long-term answer.

Paint is a nice option but rather permanent.

White pepperpot alloys were OEM on the Type C Beat which was captiva blue, Otherwise they are all Silver whether it be as factory option/accessory or on special edition cars
