I'm doing a custom project on a motorcycle where I need just 1 tire, but I can not find the size required in North America.
I have a few sizes I can use, please see below. Its a 14" rim, and I need a 55-65 series tire not wider than 6" to fit in my swing-arm.
145/55R14, 145/60R14, 145/65R14, 150/55R14, 150/60R14, 150/65R14
If anyone can source me one new tire in any of these sizes, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Looks like the 145/65R14 is the only one of those sizes you're likely to find. They are available in Japan, and I think also mfg by Nankang (Taiwan and China). Maybe there's a dealer in your area.
hmm, 155/60 seems to be about the smallest i can find!

Thanks guys. I've found lots of 155/55R14's, but most have a sectional width (actual width) of about 157-162, and some even 165! Don't know why they even bother calling it a 155 if its actually 165!
I have only limited space for my application and 155 is all that will fit.
I found some nice Yokohama DNA GP 155/55R14's with a sectional width of 154mm. They are uni-directional as well (this is what I wanted) but they are only available in Japan, and I think may have been discontinued.
These tires are also known as the ES100. Anyone have source to a tire shop that can check and see if the ES100 Yokohama comes in a 155/55R14?
Thanks,

Thanks guys. Though I'm using it for motorcycle, I really want a automotive tire so I can get the most contact patch to the ground. This bike I'm building is actually a trike, so it will not lean. (I'm building me one of these...)

Anyway, just had a unique breakthrough. When I was in the UK last year, I saw a whole bunch of these little 500cc cars...I think they are called Axiom or something.
Anyway, I found a ebay link where it says that it has a 145/60R14 tire. Its used, but if they made it for this machine, perhaps I can find one new from a dealer that sell these small cars.

Can anyone get me in touch with a good dealer who sells these small cars and I can see if I can get these small tire from them?
From the info I can find, they are actually a 13" rim, but i've contacted the ebay seller to find out if they are actually a 14 or 13" rim size.
Thanks for the help,
