Ok, so I'm reinstating the catalytic converter on my beat (I didn't take it out!). I've got a hold of a cat but it is missing the bracket that is bolted on top to connect it to the chassis.

Now, looking in the parts manual the bracket is made of 2 seperate parts of which only one appears to be readily available. When I trawl through the japanese auctions and find a picture, the bracket appears to be a single cast piece of metal.

This has left me slightly confused, have they replaced the 2 parts with one? Anyone have any clues?

oh and if anyone wants a decat pipe.....

cheers steve

so the part in the attached pic is just 18198-p36-000.

I better see if the other part is still attached to the underside of my car or not.

The other part bolts to engine and is pressed steel.
