At the end of last year I reconditioned an old hood frame for my car and then had a complete new hood + reconditioned frame fitted by Jack Smith in Swansea (and he made an excellent job of it for a very reasonable price).
This worked out very well as I was able to get the old frame welded, blasted and painted with the car still in full service :)
After the new hood was fitted I had my old frame left over which was removed to fit the reconditioned one.
The old frame is free to anyone who wants to do the same as I did i.e. recondition a frame and then fit with a new hood. The only condition is that once your new hood is fitted you pass on your old frame in the same manner :cool:
The frame is available to collect in Winsford, Cheshire (CW7).
