cut a long story short my beat got written off due to a seat arosa trying to mate with it:eek:

im not looking for a minter by any means looking to buy in a few weeks time budget I have is 1300 - 1600 red yellow not fussed as long as there is mot and tax

obv be nice that engine isnt smoking and has had regular looking after

I think it was J8 8EAT, red in colour.

I was bidding on that on Ebay, I got the impression that the guy that sold it bought cars, did them up and sold them on as a business. I am sure it went for 2K in the end. Found it:

Shame you need one with a good engine, I will shortly have a red one for sale. But needs engine rebuild, it runs but badly.

No chance of buying back the right-off from your insurance, get the engine out? Or are you not the type for messing about and just want one that works?
