Engine fades out

My Beat engine starts up no problem, but soon cuts out. The revs die away as though there is no fuel coming through.

Having not been able to start it originally and replacing top dead centre sensor, distributor, ignition coil and fuel pump relay and getting ecu checked out it starts smoothly, but doesn't go far before it fades out.

Any ideas please ?

May be there is no fuel coming through?

Can you hear the fuel pump running? Poss fuel pump failure.

Have you checked for any Engine trouble codes using the diagnostic check?

You've not given much info really to be able diagnose remotely.

Thanks for reply. Petrol pump working and petrol flowing
Management system diagnostic test showed fault on TDC sensor.Don't Know if that is still the case.
