My gear knob has gone south, as most seem to, and grabbing a damaged knob isn't a pleasent experience :D
I'd love an original new or nearly new, but most seem to be knackered and I think I remember Steve saying they are no longer available from H

So, as it's cold outside and I'm lazy after nightshift ;) can someone tell me the thread size so I can source a suitable replacement. Thanks!

Thanks for the link, but looking at that picture that gear knob is also very worn.

Isn't it the same as 1988-2000 Civic or CRX and Concerto/Rover?

I would imagine the end of the lever is standard metric thread so find a nut that will fit. See if you can find something you like at the scrappers and check with the nut. One of our Beats has a knob from an early nineties Bedford Midi van.

Yep can do no problem, just couldn't be @rsed to go outside in the cold after a long nightshift. Thought someone might know.

Still available, it is a Civic/CRX item.

Part number 54102-SH3-003ZC

But it is £48.93 inc VAT

Some ideas of what either a Type R style Alloy knob or an Accord gear knob look like on a Beat in this thread. (My pics)
