Valve springs???

Putting my head back together and noticed the inlet and exhaust valve springs are not the same. Which is which? the softer ones have a dab of yellow paint on them???? Had alook in the manual I have but that info isnt there.

Inlet valve springs have blue paint mark.

Exhaust valve springs have yellow paint mark.

And if I remember rightly the exhaust valves are softer springs.

It was my exhaust valves that had valve bounce when I over reved by Beat.
so presume a softer spring would cause that.

Another bit of info you may need to know.

Valve stem seals have a coloured spring round them.

Black spring = Exhaust valve

white spring = Inlet valve.
