Just started pulling my Beat to bits, as I bought it with a snapped cam belt. Got the inlet side off. Pipes and plugs all over the place. The exhaust side look awkward, there rusty heat shields covering everything. My beat has a rolled steel manifold, is this stock?
I can see the snapped belt now, the covers are tight against the chassis legs.

If there are heatshields covering everything.. the answer to your question is a definitive yes, 100% stock.
I would have just dropped the engine out because I know how difficult it is to work in that engine bay. I took my engine out in 3 hours using hand tools.. could have done it in less if I had known what I was doing.

For that money it's a no brainer for me. Not even worth getting dirty for.

Yeah, just add a '0' its that easy.
£1990 I bet they would even give it a full valet as well.
