to the red Beat. I have enjoyed fixing it up and have become more attached to it than I anticipated. It's new owner came to collect it last night so I took a few pictures before it went.

Oh, I'm sure he is worthy, and will look after it and keep it original, he loves his car, even though he can't drive it at the moment.....

Cheers Beardo, good news. It would be good to meet up sometime, are there any "Northern" meets? Judging by the posts, there are a fair few owners in the North. Not this year for me though as I need to attend to the mechanicals first but now might be the time to start planning such a meet? Perhaps a new thread?
