Not to sure if this is the proper term, but I was wondering if anyone knows the pin readout detailing what each wire that comes our from the stereo via the large plug at the back.

I need this for my electronics guy so that we can attempt to repair my Gathers (4x30W) Stereo.
Thanks kindly!

Cool, thanks! I thought that because it was the "high power" unit (4x30w) with the dash speakers and the sub, that the pin read-out might be different than standard.
Thanks kindly!

This is what I got from my source at Honda.

What I like is yours has number 13! AVC. Which would make 12 the signal wire to turn the sub amp on?
I have pencilled in the extra wires (sub) and plug that run to the dash speakers.
Now does anyone know if the sub amp will work with the AVC wire disconnected? Or what resistance or voltage is required for the sub amp to think everything is the norm?
I think I will start a new thread fully exposing the wierdness of the beat Audio system wiring because this is the tip of the iceberg!

On the 40-watt head unit at least, disconnecting the AVC wire will not have any effect (other than the AVC won't work).

Ok, number 12 and number 13 are no use when fitting an aftermarket stereo.
One or both are to do with the AVC I assume.
The signal wire to activate the sub amp is number 3. On my diagram its listed as being the power antenna a yel/wht wire where as in the Beat it is a Blue wire with grey spots.

12 is unused
13 is AVC

Ah I see. Big B and Old un's are of the back of the headunit where as mine is looking end on at the plug on the loom, so they are mirrored.
So on my diagram AVC is actually 12.
I can confirm that wire number 3 ( my diag, actually a blue wire in real life) is the turn on wire for the Sub amp.
I have successfully wired up the stereo now without 12 or 13 being connected, but the fact remains, Number 13, the one suspected of not being used, is actually there. If they were not using that pin normally the wire would be absent altogether. But there it is?
Old un, you have it listed as mute? Perhaps it is AVS related? Its got to do something. Honda doesn't put extra metal in their cars for the sake of it. Not anymore anyway;)
At the end of the day it doesn't seem important, just interesting? Another Beat anomaly!
