Beat gone,..... MGF here !!!!!!

Hi peeps,
well, after selling our Beat to Michael and Ruby (who came from Hamburg to view and buy) Wendie got a little claustrophobic :confused: and decided that she missed her Beat sooooo much she needed another soft-top ..... not being able to find another Beat at short notice, she decided that the only way to go was an MGF ....... £8500 later she has a minty mint British Racing Green one (after 400 -odd miles of me looking) which she has declared fit for use :rolleyes:

Whilst its NOT a Beat (power steering, rear window you can SEE out of, don`t get looked into by Mini`s et al, ) It is as said before - an oversized Beat...

I hope the 3 Beats - and one Cappuchino (spit! :) ) I have brought into the Uk (now 2 ....) are still going strong....

Hi,
we prepaired the BEAT for our trip to Mallorca next weekend. I changed the roof because of the foggy window and "tuned-up" the rear fenders because the 185/55 tires on the fontmetal-wheels sometimes are scratching. All the other preparations are "normal":
waterproofed luggagebag instead of the sparewheel.
toothbrush into the glovefold
and the HKS SLD for the german motorways.
We´ll make some pics and send a full story for all after our return.
