What do these wires do (pics)

Anyone know what these wires do? They were BOTH not plugged in to anything, just hanging loose.

Top one should be connected to the door switch on the door pillar that you can see to the right of the pic.

Bottom one, connects the seatbelt stalk to a connector on the floor looms, so the annoying seatbelt warning light will work. (so best left disconnected ;))
