Hi everyone. Can anyone help me with a contact to source and replace a new roof for my lovely Beat? I am based in South London but am happy to travel a reasonable distance.

I know this has been asked before but I couldn't find a relatively recent answer.

Thank you so much!

Wenders, have a read of this thread

The company seems to go by three names - european trimming co, soft-top.co.uk and oxted trimming. Don't let that put you off.
They are based in Oxted, Surrey. So not to far to travel.
I went for a cloth replacement over the original vinyl and the quality is 1000 times better. If I remember the roof was about £300 with £200 fitting.

I had a quote from the following company - I think they are Gatwick area

''The Honda beat in vinyl is £175 + VAT.''

email address was debbie@soft-top.co.uk

I think the number to call was tel 0845 868 7361

local fitting though was getting on for £200.00 so fitting yourselfs a option

cheer

Fitting this will take you about 2 hours and you will need a cheap rivit gun and a drill to remove the old ones. The holes are marked so you can't make a mistake. I've done three of these but I before that I never fitted one before.

here is a few pictures.

Take all the screws out from the front and back, take off the plastic on the inside and take out the wire that runs in side on both sides. Thats it, then reverse it. Its really easy and you save a lot of money.
