engine lost a cyclinder

my engines gone pop :eek: its been eating oil for a while, but on a short trip one of the cyclinders has gone, had it tested and ones out....
can anyone advise a good mechanic????? as the guy that tested it wasn't interested !!!

i can get the car anywhere in the uk.... thats not a problem, its finding a mechanic that knows what there doing...
