Look on the Japhoo site. I see them frequently. I made my own set.

Removed the black plastic intake cover; Match drilled the housing bolt pattern thru a small sheet of 2.5mm thk alum; Aligned with the 3 throttle bodies, bored 38mm holes; welded matching tubing; attached slainless filters and a dust blanket (off road VW). Too loud. Yeah, more pep, but too loud. If the right filters are found, this would be an extension of the MTREC design. So this test unit collects dust in the garage.

I believe short flutes inside the OEM black plastic housing may lessen the burbling and offer cleaner air flow.

The problem will be that you will just draw nice warm air in from the engine bay, rather that cooler air that has entered by the side vent and went via a specifically designed air intake tube.

But if you want it to sound like a 'Boy racer' and less power :awwww: then its the way to go. :suicide:

Concur with Steve. The pep I mentioned from complete lack of filtration that in turn would promote eccesive internal engine wear.

Further, relocate the AC cooling plumbing from the dash thru the plenum and note the pep increase due to the cold/dense air. Ha Ha
