Rear fog mod.

Not sure if anyone is aware of this so I thought I'd share.

This is fairly easy to do. I have done away with the awful extra lamp that hangs from the rear bumper and utilised the o/s reverse light as a fog lamp. Simply take the live wire from the fog lamp switch and connect to the reverse lamp wire in the o/s cluster. Replace the bulb with a bright red fog bulb. Still got 1 reverse lamp and the extra lamp is no more. :)

It's been shared around here before and is by far the 'cleanest' way to install a foglight on the beat. I done this mod when I imported my car, however the MOT guy said it wasn't really bright enough.
So I modded a high level LED brake light for my fog light - I think Whiteleopard done this originally and it's where I got my idea's from, so all credits to her :D

I did the same thing with my Legacy. Much better than having a naff foglamp hanging off your bumper.
