Hi all, im in the process of dorpping out the engine to do a major service, (cam belt, clutch thrust brg, plugs etc)

can any one tell me the best way to disconnect the drive shafts?

is there any nasty stuff i need to be aware of?

do K&N do a replacement air filter?

I never found any aftermarket panel filter that would fit, but then I didn't really look all that hard.

The ones from Honda aren't all that expensive, and they're near enough the optimum for the air intake anyway. Anything you did gain would be very little, I doubt you'd even add 1 whole BHP.

Drive shaft is help in the gearbox buy a sprung circlip. so two levers/screw drives either side of the gearbox/driveshaft joint and prise the shaft out. spring will compress as it comes out. to refit just align the splines and carefully tap the joint in.
