Contemplating extending the soundproofing mat over the ECU. Has anyone experience ECU overheat? Is there such a chill unit or has anyone added a fan?

the pics looks brilliant!
not sure about fans but ive seen a lot of the japanese places sell a heatproof mat and spacer set to bring the ecu off the panel by an inch or 2. you can also buy an extension cord that lets you run the ecu under the passenger seat - i think the german place on ebay has em in. :)
