Is this correct??? (pics)

Was just wondering if anyone could help me and tell me if the beat roof is meant to overlap itself on the rear corners?? (pics Below)

All I can tell you is that mine does!

mine too.. but then my hood dont seem to be the right one. as when it is down the two ends at either side sticks out. which makes it looks ugly.. and also the cover does not cover all the roof peoperly when it is down.. is this normal???

I don't think its fitted properly. Sketch shows layout of Honda original (top) and what yours looks like (bottom) in cross section.

Well today i tried it the way you had it in the sketch and it didn't really sit right, I then put it back the way i had it (shown in the 2 photos) and it fitted a bit more neater and flatter than the way you said.

Can anyone else tell me if the way in the photos is the correct way???

Maybe a photo of your own roof would help as well for a few of us!!

As far as I know my Beat has it's original hood. My wife's, which looks exactly the same, has a genuine Honda replacement which was fitted by a Honda dealer.
