Replacing bulb in front fog lamp switch

Can the bulb inside the front fog lamp switch be replaced? I tried to unscrew the slotted maroon thing on top but it will not turn more than 1/8th or so and I dare not use any more force. Also tried to release the latches and pull the blue part out of the black housing but again it won't go very far. :help:

That maroon part you describe is the bulb holder, it is a bayonet fitting and should turn 1/4 turn and then pull out.

The bulb is not removable from the holder, you replace the whole thing.

Some Civic/Accord switches have the same type of bulb/holder so a Honda dealer may be able to match one up.
