I'm beginning the disassembly for bodykit, paint and new vinyl wrapped interior installation. Amazing what I discover.
What system does the capped wire bundle feed next to the emergingy brake?
What system does the capped wire bundle feed coming from the radio connector? Approx 2 inch long. CD player? Dash speakers?

I will be snapping pics as the project progresses. If anybody has questions re items, systems or just wants to know what's under the cosmetic coverings, pls advise.

Also, continue to seek 15x5.5 rims, anybody

Thanks, Steve. I may want to tap into these for a few mods I have planned. Is there a schematic available listing these bunbles?

Is there a schematic diagram - in a word no. Its not shown on the workshop manual wiring diagram.

By the radio - is for dash speakers.
By the handbrake is for Subwoofer.

Where would the subwoofer be if there was one? Was it a factory option?

It came as part of the high power radio set up, so Accessory, as are all of the audio parts.

It replaces the pocket/cubby hole in the centre panel up the bulkhead.

ive got one here that i bought off a member here a while back.
i was told that it was in perfect working order, but it wouldnt work with my 40w stereo - i didnt realise at the time but i think you need the more powerful version of the stereo for it to work? someone can probably confirm this?

you're probably right.
doesn't the 120w have an aluminium heat sink on rear to distinguish it from 40w?
although do both versions have same buttons or are they marked with different functions?

I think it says right on the front, bottom left I believe. 30W x 4 is the 120W version.
They do look the same other than that I think.

This is correct plus some of the buttons on the high power unit are grey rather than black. BUT the front panels are interchangeable so should not be taken as a guarantee.
