I'm thinking of lowering my BEAT about an inch. Does anyone have any recommendation other than find the right springs?

Has anyone lowered their Beat? Please share your tips and advice for me! It's something I've considered so would like to hear views etc. Is a good idea? Worthwhile?
Thanks

Im surprised that a Mugen set-up is not already on your shopping list.

Flamingo,
I was on the understanding that you were after a standard beat?
when we put the mugen set on ours it totally transformed the car. they were a great balance between daily comfort and fun. they lowered the car by about 25-30mm if i remember rightly. we never had any problems with them.
we bought them a while back when the exchange rate was a lot better tho - think they cost around 650 rather than 1300!! only reason we swapped was that they arent adjustable - ours now has a Gaz setup.

I have Buddy Club fully adjustable coilovers and I have to admit, they're better then i thought. I thought they would be too hard for our rough canadian roads but on a few clicks from softest, they're pretty soft considering the limits of the beats suspension. The fact they're independently height adjustable from the spring thanks to a adjustable lower adapter is nice too.
