Hello all,
:help: can anybody tell me where the ECU is located.I have searched most obvious places,i have stipped down the centre console and glove compartment and checked engine bay.:suicide:

They have hidden it nice and sefely behind the passenger seat...

Quite fun to get to as a fair bit of trim needs to be loosened / removed but it's not too bad really.

If my memory serves me correctly, you have to

Remove the plastic trim that runs along where the doors shuts, up to the rear plastic panel. (one screw then it pulls off)

Then you have to take the centre console off at the back, where you have either a tape box or a subwoofer. (two screws on each side and 2 at the bottom where it meets the next panel)

Then I think you have to take the plastic panel on the passenger side off.

Then you can take the panel off the back behind the seats

THEN you have to remove the document box (i forget how)

THEN you can pull back the carpet by pulling out the grey plastic trim screws holding it in place

THEN you'll see the ecu.

Em's right. It's a little easier if you remove the passenger seat as well. OZ has a pretty good writeup on his website...Link is below.
