Converting KMH speedo to MPH

Hi,

What's the normal procedure when converting speedos? Do you change the electronics in the speedo or do you ad a box that converts the signal?

When i had my grey import bike the speedo was converted by putting a mph overlay over the speedo face,there was various companies that did this at the time.:)

people use various ways, I think the most popular is a convertor box to convert signal.

as you say over lays, but that means dismantling speedo, other just use marks on outsde of speedo glass.
