Due to the failure of an already-existing weld holding the bracket at the windscreen-end of this metal sheet / shield, the end with the bolt-hole to attach to that bracket has snapped off.
A friend has carried out a welding bodge-job to keep it secure temporarily but we could really do with obtaining a complete replacement metal sheet if anyone has one lying around.
I suspect not, but it must be worth a try!
