Morning folks

The Beat has almost returned to the House of Honda here in Oxfordshire. Will go and pick it up today or tomorrow. I have some work to do on it too, rear tyres, rear brake pads and an oil and filter change. Already got the pads, have plenty of info about tyres thanks to u-ukhbc, but which type of oil should i use? I've looked for some older threads but couldn't find the info i need. I don't think mineral oil is a great idea due to the Beats 9000rpm redline, so do i go for the really expensive stuff, or can i save some cash by going semi-synthetic. Before you ask, i have no idea what's currently in it.

Semi synthetic is fine for standard engines, fully synthetic is only really called for in highly tuned/turbo engines running much revs and MPH

Thanks. I eventually went with the semi-synthetic option, in this case Mobil Super S, which is also currently in my ATR. Makes topping up easy!

Cheers
